Check this: Our class rings are cool, but I had wished that the stone was made from cz instead of whatever was used. Cubic zirconia is often used as a diamond substitue since it is way less expensive than the real thing. But what I love about this synthetic stone is the ability to get it in many different colors and that it is even more sparkly than diamonds. Cubic zirconia gemstones also can be cut differently from diamonds. Their facet edges can be rounded or "smooth". When you wear fashionable cubic zirconia rings they look every bit as gorgeous as rings with real gemstones. My favorite site on the web that offers CZ jewelry have what I consider the best variety and selection in cz rings. Maybe next year someone can convince the school to buy cz gemstone graduation class rings. Oh, I will be soooo jealous, if they do.
